MU Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Committee

Such an inspiring few days at the Trade Union Conference for Women representing the Musician’s Union as part of my role as a member of the MU Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Committee.

The conference was thought-provoking, empowering (and at times heart-wrenching) listening to the thoughts, testimonies and calls to action from such a wide variety of wonderful women.

Motions ranged from the gender pay gap to misogyny and the rise of the far right, to female journalists in Gaza to maternity and pension rights. Lots to think about and work to do…
